Okay I looked up the Google Stonewall and I believe that it was about a nimber of people in the gay comminuty rioting in the streets for their rights.
I read a thing on it and it said that they were opressed and that they wanted equel oppertinitues. I didn't know that roit even existed.

Now I just want you to know I'm not aginst gays and what not. I know that the orange in the rainbow flag stands for awareness. Well so I've heard. I knew a girl who was getting married to another girl a while back. I'm not mentioning names. She was also a good friend to me and still is to this day.

Now I realize that there are some parts of the bible that say that homosexuality is a sin but how so? Well I don't see it that way personally. They used to stone gays in those days and in some places the still do.

On a last note I understand your stance and I respect it. I listeh to the news too and I've noticed that they voted down gay mariage many times in other states. I think I know why. We both have our opinions as to why.

What's important to remember is that even though marriage equality is voted down, the support for it is on the increase.

If 30% of people or so think LGBT people should be allowed to marry, marriage equality gets voted down.

If a year or so later 48% of people believe in marriage equality, and 51% oppose, support has increased but marriage equality still gets voted down.

All it means is, it hasn't become majority opinion yet.

But if you look at the actual numbers of the voting results earlier and compare them to later has gone up. More and more states have been legalizing same-sex marriage. If support for LGBT rights was really dwindling, or not moving forward, then we wouldn't be seeing this happen.

Sorry for the late reply and such

Which states is it legal? And I think it was legal in California at one time but eventully over turned.

And itis cool.

I don't even know wtf is going on in California at this point, to be honest. It's a big mess over there. As far as I know, prop 8 was declared unconstitutional, but the pro-prop 8 crowd intends to appeal, so same-sex marriages still aren't being performed there yet. But they were for a time, so there's a lot of married gay couples there.

Far as other states go, you can find that info here: [link]
